general situation
- the institut für alles mögliche is the live-in studio of stefan riebel and from july 2011 available to artists from around the world. it is a cozy and modest space to live, to work and to present in Berlin, Germany.
the facility of the institute
- * the place consists of 2 rooms and is in total 40 sqm large
* the place is equipped with a central heating system
* there is some basic equipment like a table, seats, a shelf and two comfortable chairs that turn into matraces
* you will find a kitchenette with some basic tableware, a dishwasher and a fridge
* there is a shower and a sepparate toilet
* there are standard outlets (220v) and a wi-fi internet connection
the infrastructure around the institute
- * there will be a bike for you to use
* there is good transportation connection to subway and bus system (in 5 min walking distance)
- * best connection for food and material supply (in 2 min walking distance)
* i-a-m is one of 5 different artspaces on shererstraße, there are major galleries and a center for contemporary dance in close walking distance
* berlin-wedding is a cultural diverse and relaxed place not far from the city-center
* there is a backyard that can be used for bbqing and right behind the house there is a playground, in case you travel with your child
fee for the residence
- * 1-week: 250 € / + 100 € security deposit
* 2-weeks: 400 € / + 150 € security deposit
- * 1-month: 650 € / + 250 € security deposit
* 2-months: 1.100 € / + 250 € security deposit
other things
- the place is basically open to everything. you can develop, try out or simply relax here ... you are your own artist, producer, galerist, publisher and whatever else you would like to be. you will take care of your plans yourself. individual needs can be discussed with us.
